Online registration for Austin Fit's training for the San Antonio Rock 'N' Roll Marathon & Half Marathon is has closed. Under limited circumstances, for those who have been training alone or have a very strong base, in the Austin Fit Organizer's discretion, we may still allow a few individuals to join this late. The program is into double-digits for marathon training members and well under way for all.

Online registration for the fall program will open SOON, so please stay tuned right here on our website for more. Once open, you will be able to register online before opening day, August 21, or you may wait until that week or August 28 to register at our walk-up, in-person registration. Just like the summer program, the fall program has over 60 coaches to help you, and every pace group from sub-7 minute mile to fitness walker, we can accommodate every fitness level. We are in our 16th year in Austin, and our success has been to get more people to the finish line than any training program. The fall program meets from August 21 through February 13, on Saturday mornings in the parking lot of the TxDOT offices located at 150 E. Riverside Drive in Austin. The group meets there weekly at 7:10 AM

Marathon for the Cure

USA Fit Austin

Welcome to USA Fit Austin. We are a training program for runners and walkers, designed with the goal of completing a full marathon or half marathon, 10K, 5K or just to obtain a better fitness level! We have two training seasons for longer distance races: One in the spring/summer for the San Antonio Rock ‘N’ Roll Marathon and Half Marathon (mid-November) and one in the fall/winter for the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon (mid-February), and 3M Half Marathon (3rd week in January). We are also an official training program for the Austin American-Statesman Capitol 10,000, with groups at four different times, days and locations. Our training programs may be altered to train for the Dallas White Rock Marathon in December, the Houston Marathon and Half Marathon in January, the Tyler Half Marathon, and others across the state and the region during that 6-8 month time frame. We also provide training for the Zooma Women’s Half Marathon in April, and Get Fit, a 5K program that occurs at various times throughout the year. And of course you don’t have to actually do on of these races if you don’t want to – you could just do the program for the challenge or just to get in better shape.

Our coaches are devoted to getting you in the best shape of your life in a non-intimidating, fun, and safe environment. Upon joining, you will receive day-by-day training schedules, Group runs, access to trained and certified coaches, informational seminars and a USA Fit Austin technical shirt.



Ask anyone who has trained with us, completing their goal of getting in shape or finishing a 5K, 10K, half or full marathon, and I'm sure they will tell you Austin Fit has truly changed his/her life. You will feel physically fit, happier, and mentally stronger; and all in a short 27 weeks (or 12 weeks for the 5K or 10K programs).

Whether you are a couch-potato, walker, casual jogger, or marathon veteran, our training programs are the most enjoyable, most inspiring, and most efficient way to get in the best shape of your life.

Does just hearing the word marathon make you shake in your shoes? That's okay, come out and join us anyway. You will have fun and meet other people just like you to exercise with and help you accomplish your fitness goals. We welcome everyone, and will find a group and coach to walk or run with you!
